Head of the Azerbaijani State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov held a meeting with the head of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Azerbaijan Quido Ambroso, AzVision.az report.
During the meeting, the head of the State Migration Service highlgihted the positive results achieved in the implementation of the commitments made by the Azerbaijani government at the First Global Refugee Forum in Geneva in 2019.
Speaking about the humanitarian aid provided to refugees and asylum seekers during the COVID-19 pandemic, Vusal Huseynov also touched on the steps taken to improve access to the legal labor market for this category of people under the auspices of the UNHCR and the inclusion of refugees in the compulsory health insurance system.
