Questioning or violating the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the states as in the Nagorno-Karabakh region contradicts our common fundamental values, said German Chancellor Angela Merkel in her speech at the spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe adding that a rules-based order is a fundamental requirement for peaceful coexistence, AzVision.az reports.
"If all the institutions of the Council of Europe work closely together, it (the Council of Europe) can play a decisive role in this matter," Merkel noted.
