US ambassador to Georgia welcomes Azerbaijan’s release of Armenian detainees

US ambassador to Georgia welcomes Azerbaijan’s release of Armenian detainees

The United States welcomes the release of 15 Armenian detainees by Azerbaijan, said US Ambassador to Georgia Kelly Degnan, AzVision.az reports.

The diplomat praised Georgia’s role in this process. “Such steps serve to ensure stability and progress in the region. It is also an indicator of the joint work of the three countries in the region. The US is proud of such a successful outcome,” Degnan added.
