Based on the appeal of the State Service for the Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture, employees of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (ANAS) carried out excavations in the territory of Vakhidli village, Tovuz district.
As a result of excavations on the territory located near the village, known as "Galaduzu", the ruins of a two-room house of the 18th century were unearthed, the State Service told AzVision.az.
It should be noted that a complex of mausoleums and a mosque dating back to the late Middle Ages are also located on this territory.
