In accordance with the Agreement on military cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey, the servicemen of the two fraternal countries have begun joint training exercises.
The main objective of the exercises held with the participation of Azerbaijani and Turkish servicemen is to improve interoperability of the units of the two countries’ armies during combat operations, to develop the military decision-making skills among the commanders and their ability to control units. During the exercises tasks on conducting underwater attack and underwater defense operations will also be accomplished.
The bilateral joint training exercises will last until September 12.
