  Moscow, Baku and Yerevan determined to unblock transport links in region – Russian Deputy PM

Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia are determined to unblock transport and economic links in the region, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk, AzVision.az reports.

Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the Armenian-Russian business forum in Yerevan, Overchuk said the trilateral working group (Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan) continues its meetings.

“The last – seventh – meeting took place in mid-August in Moscow. All parties are determined to unblock transport and economic links in the region. Discussions are underway on how to achieve this,” the Russian deputy premier added.

Overchuk noted that the restoration of transport routes will create new opportunities for expanding and increasing trade between Russia and Armenia.
