He reminded that two days ago, Azerbaijan marked the Day of Remembrance to honor the memory of the Patriotic War victims.
“The day is marked to pay homage to the heroes of the 44-day war who lost their lives in defending their motherland. Indeed, it is a symbol of courage, bravery and inspiration on the part of Azerbaijan and its forces that fought for its legal right until the last drop of blood,” Nawab said.
The Pakistani youth activist stressed that the Day of Remembrance also signifies Azerbaijan’s readiness for its defense to the last.
Nawab also highlighted the moral support provided to Azerbaijan by brotherly countries, especially by Pakistan, during the second Karabakh War. He emphasized that Pakistan has always stood by Azerbaijan through the thick and thin, and extended unflinching support to Azerbaijan on all forums.
“The people of Pakistan, especially the youth of Pakistan, too extended their all-out sympathies to Azerbaijan. The youth, through the digital medium, made it sure to support Azerbaijan’s just case on electronic and social media,” Nawab added.
