Azerbaijan will build 13 Automatic Hydrological stations (AHS) in the liberated territories by the end of 2021, said Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Rauf Hajiyev at the Azerbaijani-German forum "Sustainable Development of Water Infrastructure in Azerbaijan".
Rauf Hajiyev highlighted the significance of ensuring the protection of Azerbaijan's water resources noting that relevant plans and strategies have been prepared and submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers.
"There are rich water resources in the liberated areas. As a result of the monitoring, the facts of water pollution in the liberated areas were revealed", he added.
