The Karabakh conflict has been consigned to history, and Azerbaijan resolved the conflict by military means, said President Ilham Aliyev in his remarks at a session of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States held in a video conference format, AzVision.az reports.
The President noted that the long-running process of negotiations was fruitless. “Therefore, Azerbaijan decided to resolve the conflict by military and political means.”
The head of state hailed Russia's role in achieving a ceasefire.
