  Nur-Sultan hosts opening ceremony of “Masters of Artillery Fire” contest

The solemn opening ceremony of the "Masters of Artillery Fire" contest, held as part of the "International Army Games-2022", was conducted in Nur-Sultan city, the capital of Kazakhstan.

The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Colonel General Ruslan Zhaksylykov and Deputy Ministers, the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Colonel General Aleksandr Fomin, military attachés, teams, and media representatives.

Welcoming the guests, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Colonel General Ruslan Zhaksylykov congratulated the teams on the start of the "Masters of Artillery Fire" contest, held as part of the "International Army Games-2022", and wished them success.

Colonel General R. Zhaksylykov emphasized that the games have a special role in the formation and development of international military cooperation.
Then the Flag of the International Army Games was raised and the participating teams performed the anthem "International Army Games".

After the official part of the event, a concert program was presented for the members, delegations and officials of the participating teams.

It should be noted that the teams of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Armenia, Tajikistan, Zimbabwe, Venezuela and Kyrgyzstan are participating in the "Masters of Artillery Fire" contest, which will last until August 24.
