A lightning struck Turkey’s AtlasJet plane en route to Tbilisi from Istanbul shortly after take-off, AzVision.az reports citing Georgian media.
An eyewitness said that 15-20 minutes after takeoff, they noticed a bright light, and then lightning struck the plane.
As there was something wrong with the fight control, pilots drove the plane back to Ataturk Airport.
