Over $40B to be invested in ACG development - BP

Contract of the Century was realized thanks to Heydar Aliyev’s activity. New life has started since that time, Bob Dudley, Group Chief Executive of BP, said at the signing ceremony of contract for extension of Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) on development of Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli block of oil and gas fields by 2050.
He said that this will open a new page of the cooperation: “We’ll continue our cooperation by investing more than $40 billion. We launched Khankendi vessel. Our commitments to Azerbaijan consist of not only huge platforms, vessels. We also support education, implement projects in this field. At the same time, we support development of communities in the regions. We support National Olympic and Paralympic Committees of Azerbaijan. Our cooperation will continue successfully”.
