“During the first nine months of this year, significant events took place in the oil and gas sector of our country,” he said.
The head of state recalled that a new agreement on development of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli block of oil and gas fields was signed last month.
He emphasized that the mail goal is to achieve the development of the non-oil sector, and oil revenues are aimed at the development of human capital.
The president also spoke about the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway project.
“An official opening ceremony of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway will take place in the near future,” he added.
