Agenda revealed of Sochi meeting of CIS Foreign Ministers Council
The agenda has been revealed of the meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers to be held in Sochi on October 10, AzVision.az reports citing APA.
At the meeting, 18 issues on cooperation within the CIS will be considered. The foreign ministers will discuss measures of expanding future multilateral cooperation in the territory of CIS and exchange views on current international issues.

At the end of the meeting, the agreed project documents will be submitted to the Council of CIS Heads of State to be held in Sochi on October 11 and the CIS Council of Prime Ministers to be held on November 3 in Tashkent.

During the event, decisions will be made about the projects “Concept of cooperation in combating corruption” and “Agreement on information exchange in countering terrorism and other forms of extremism as well as the financing of them.”

Military cooperation, including the main directions of the project on the coordination of the united air defense system of US countries, will be put on the agenda.

Moreover, participants will discuss agreeing on a number of documents aimed at deepening cooperation in the humanitarian area. These documents include the “Declaration of 2019 as the ‘Year of Book’ in CIS, and 2020 as the 75th anniversary of the Victory in Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945” and others.
