PACE documents aimed at creating negative image of Azerbaijan?
The documents adopted at the autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), which raise false questions about Azerbaijan, are aimed at creating a negative image of the country, Azerbaijani MP Asim Mollazade told, AzVision.az reports citing Trend.
"There is a very strange situation,” he said. “Some forces make PACE accept documents against Azerbaijan."

Mollazade added that strong countries competing with Azerbaijan in the energy, transport and other spheres are behind the attempts of putting pressure on Azerbaijan.

"These are the main forces that are waging information war against Azerbaijan," Mollazade said.

PACE has recently adopted two resolutions on Azerbaijan, including on “The functioning of democratic institutions in Azerbaijan” report authored by co-rapporteurs Cezar Florin Preda and Stefan Schennach, and on “Azerbaijan’s Chairmanship of the Council of Europe: what follow-up on respect for human rights?” report made by Belgian MP Alain Destexhe.
