Azerbaijan – third biggest investor of Turkey
Total amount of investments made in Turkey during eight months of 2017 made up $4,851,000,000, up 28.8% from previous year ($3,767,000,000), said the Central Bank of Turkey.
According to Anadolu agency, 79% or $3,830,000,000 of these investments were made by European countries.

The countries with the highest investments made in Turkey include Netherlands ($1,501,000,000), Spain ($1,046,000,000), Azerbaijan ($355,000,000) and Austria ($308,000,000). The amount of investments made by each of Belgium, Germany, Japan, England, China and US exceeded $100 million.

Russia has not made direct investments in Turkey since early 2017, while it invested $259 million in 2016.
