We want to learn Azerbaijan's expereince - Afghanistan's Ashraf Ghani
Azerbaijan provided its air corridor when the route of NATO forces was blocked, Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani said at a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku on Dec. 1.
“Mr. President, we are happy to be in Baku. I sincerely wanted to visit your country, and if possible, I was looking for a meeting with you at various international events,” said the Afghan leader.

Ashraf Ghani congratulated the Azerbaijani president of his great achievements.

“On behalf of the Afghan people, I would like to thank you for the support you have provided to us for many years. When the route of NATO forces was blocked, you provided your air corridor,” he said.

The Afghan leader also hailed the allocation of large funds aimed at improving Baku and turning the city into a fast cargo delivery center.

"The Lapis-Lazuli contract has already been signed. I think we maintained sincere personal relations, as well as relations between our countries. Firstly, we would like to learn Azerbaijan's experience. Our Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) currently implements "ASAN Service" in Afghaistan", he added.
