Mosidze added that Georgia used all the opportunities to make the cooperation more effective within GUAM.
First Deputy Chairperson of Georgian Parliament, Tamar Chugoshvili noted that GUAM made a great contribution to Georgia's security and stability.
“The Parliamentary Assembly of the organization has played a constructive role in expanding interparliamentary cooperation,” he said.
The 10th annual session of the GUAM Parliamentary Assembly (PA) is held in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The session will focus on regional security, joint effort against transnational crime, and the transition to renewable energy sources.
Georgia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze, First Deputy Chairperson of Georgian Parliament Tamar Chugoshvili, President of the Benelux Parliamentary Assembly André Postema, President of the Baltic Assembly Aadu Must, Secretary General of GUAM Altai Efendiyev, as well as head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the GUAM PA, Azer Kerimli and MP Ali Masimli and other officials are attending the event.
A final declaration is expected to be adopted at the end of the session.
