Forum of Armenian Unions of Europe urges investors not to put money in Armenia
Chairman of the Forum of Armenian Unions of Europe Ashot Grigoryan urged investors to be vigilant and not to invest in Armenia, and even advised not to visit the country while Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan and President Serzh Sargsyan are in power, the Armenian media reported Jan. 29.

Grigoryan was speaking about his unsuccessful experience of making investments in Armenia.

"Karapetyan and Sargsyan are constantly lying,” he said. “Our holding has spent quite a lot of money. We arrived in Armenia twice. We prepared business plans, took part in a tender, spent tens of thousands of euros. In January 2017, we submitted all the documents for the tender, but we have not received any answer yet. We do not believe them any more.”

"There is not a single normal Armenian diaspora that would like to invest in Armenia; if you find one or two, it means that they came to plunder the country," Grigoryan added.
