French president not to visit Karabakh
On January 30, the Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations in France (CCAF) invited French President Emmanuel Macron to the  Commemoration of the so-called "Armenian Genocide".

CCAF Co-Chairs Ara Toranian and Mourad Papazian called Emmanuel Macron to condemn Turkey and to visit Azerbaijan's Nagorno-Karabakh region which was occupied by Armenians.

"I will disappoint you again, but I will not accompany you to Karabakh because I will lose what France has useful in this conflict, that of being a mediator and to be heard by both parties", said Macron highlighting his dialogue policy with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his unilateral position regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
