A Japanese military Apache helicopter has crashed in a residential area in Saga, southern Japan, setting at least one house on fire, NHK broadcaster reported Monday. 

The reason for the crash hasn't been immediately clear.

According to the media, two people were aboard the chopper, while one of them was suffering from hear and pulmonary arrest.

"A Self-Defence Force helicopter crash-landed on a residential area. A house has caught fire," local government official Katsuhide Tanaka told AFP news agency.
