April 11 is non-working day in Azerbaijan
April 11 will be a non-working day in Azerbaijan because of the extraordinary presidential elections, AzVision.az reports.  Article 105-1 (Election day) of the Labor Code states that the day of voting is considered a non-working day in the area in case of referendums, as well as elections of the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan, members of Milli Majlis and municipality members of the Azerbaijani Republic.

April 11 falls on Wednesday.

Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev signed an order announcing extraordinary presidential election in Azerbaijan on Apr.11. Under the order, the extraordinary presidential election will be held on April 11, 2018.

The Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan has been instructed to ensure the holding of presidential election in accordance with the country’s Electoral Code.
