Italy rejected Armenian scholar
The conference on construction of kurgans in Iranian and Caucasian territories which will be held in Florence, Italy rejected Armenian scholar's participation,  associate of Institute of Archaeology Academy of Sciences, Nzhdeh Yeranyan told to the Armenian media.   

Scholar noted that he got rejection for participation as his research was related to Nagorno Karabakh territory occuppied by Armenia. 

"I was told that conducting archeological research on disputed territories is prohibited in accordance with legislation of UNESCO," Armenian scholar added. 

Yeranyan's objection to the decision has not changed anything. 

Note, Florence will host scientific conference on constructing kurgans in Iranian and Caucasian territories on March 29-30, 2018.
