The conference organized by the Baku City Circuit Operations Company and the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation was held at the Heydar Aliyev Center.
Rahimov said that Azerbaijan held the first European Games, the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games, the Formula 1Azerbaijan Grand Prix and other major events.
Holding these events developed Azerbaijan’s sports infrastructure, and the country’s organizing abilities grew, he added.
“Azerbaijani volunteers are already participating in competitions held in other countries,” said Rahimov. “The volunteers who participated in the first European Games will take part in the next European Games to be held in Minsk.”
This year, Azerbaijan will hold several prestigious international competitions, Rahimov said, stressing that all these events serve the development of the country.
