Azerbaijani President expressed his gratitude to British Prime Ministerial Trade Envoy Baroness Emma Nicholson for her participation at the fourth meeting of ministers within the framework of the Advisory Council of the Southern Gas Corridor (SGC).
President Ilham Aliyev and Baroness Emma Nicholson hailed the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the UK in a number of fields, including economic, political, energy and other fields. In addition, they touched on the cooperation between Azerbaijan and BP Oil Company at the meeting. Furthermore, the sides highlighted Azerbaijan's contribution to European energy security and the importance of “South Gas Corridor” project.
