Ilham Aliyev meets first deputy PM of Georgia
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has met with first deputy prime minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Dimitri Kumsishvili.

Azerbaijani president commented on the active bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia at the meeting:” The cooperation opens various opportunities not only for Azerbaijan and Georgia but also for a number of countries. “South Gas Corridor” is being successfully implemented.

Furthermore, Azerbaijan and Georgia implement global projects in the field of transport. Cooperation in the field of oil and gas contributes to the sustainable development our countries. We achieved to create a balance of interests between producer and transit countries that guarantees our future success”.  

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Dimitri Kumsishvili conveyed the greetings of Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili to Ilham Aliyev. Kumsishvili stated the implementation of “South Gas Corridor” opened thousands of workplaces highlighting the importance of Georgia’s participation in this project.

President Ilham Aliyev thanked for the greetings of Georgian PM Giorgi Kvirikashvili and asked to extend his greetings to the Georgian PM.
