The representatives of Azerbaijani community living in Washington attended the action. 

Protesters showed the facts on the Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan and Khojaly Genocide. 

Protesters raised banners on recognition of Khojaly Genocide at state level, condemnation and recognition of Khojaly Genocide by more than 20 states of the US and other countries  

Protesters shouted slogans such as "Armenia is not an independent state", "Condemn the Armenian terror!", "Armenia out of Azerbaijan", "Armenia is child killer", "UN condemns Armenian aggression", "We will never forget Khojaly". 

Protesters called the Armenian government to recognize Khojaly Genocide. They also demanded Armenia to withdraw their Armed Forces from Azerbaijan and to release Azerbaijani hostages. Members of the community also called the Armenian government to recognize the facts on killing of Azerbaijani civilians in various parts of the Nagorno-Karabakh as well as in Malibayli, Gushcular, Aghdaban and Garadaghli. Besides, they also demanded Armenia to followr Resolutions 822, 853, 874 and 884 of the UN Security Council. 

Note, US Azerbaijanis Network holds protest action in memory of victims of Khojaly Genocide. Besides, the network members organize various campaigns to inform US community on Khojaly Genocide several times a year.
