Georgia’s border guards detain 7 for attempting to cross into Turkey

Georgia’s border guards have detained seven people for attempting to cross into Turkey illegally, Agenda reports.

The Interior Ministry did not reveal the identities of the detainees, but said two were Georgians while four from Bangladesh. One detainee is Uzbekistani.


They face four to five years in prison.
