The sides highlighted the importance of the organization of the first international session of the OSCE PA Silk Road Support Group in Baku on March 13, which will enable possible contribution to the development of the cooperation between Azerbaijan and the OSCE PA. Besides, they expressed their satisfaction regarding the organization of one of the PSCE PA sessions in Azerbaijan in the future.
They also touched on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stressed that the conflict should be resolved within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and Armenia had to put an end to the occupation of Azerbaijani territories.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed his confidence that the forthcoming presidential elections would take place in fair and transparent conditions and reflect the will of Azerbaijani people.
George Tsereteli emphasized Azerbaijan’s economic growth and its contribution to the development of the whole region.
The sides also exchanged views over issues on of cooperation.
