The election observation team of the Parliamentary Assembly of theCouncil of Europe (PACE) arrived in Azerbaijan to monitor the presidential election scheduled for April 11, the PACE co-rapporteur for the monitoring of Azerbaijan, Stefan Schennach, tweeted on April 9.
During the visit, the PACE observers will meet with members of the OSCE/ODIHR observation mission as well as presidential candidates.
The 33-member PACE election team is led by Romanian MP Viorel Badea.
The PACE observes will monitor the April 11 presidential election in Azerbaijan together with the OSCE PA and OSCE / ODIHR missions.
