Opposition protesters block Baghramyan Avenue in Yerevan - VIDEO

On Monday morning, opposition Civil Contract Party member and National Assembly (NA) “Way Out” (Yelk) Faction head Nikol Pashinyan and his supporters have blocked Baghramyan Avenue in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia, AzVision.az reports citing the Armenian media.

They sat in the street and are not allowing the cars to move forward.

In Pashinyan’s words, several other streets also will soon be blocked.

The police, in turn, formed a human chain and closed off with barriers the street that leads to Moskovyan Street in downtown Yerevan.

Nikol Pashinyan on Sunday had called on people to block Yerevan’s bridges, streets, and subway on Monday.
