Azerbaijan is introducing a new brand, Azerbaijan Carpet, said the Ministry of Economy during their expanded Board meeting. We have already commissioned carpet weaving facilities in 10 districts to boost the field. Carpet making is one of the traditional industries in Azerbaijan and the country has been following an elaborate action plan based on the State Program for the Protection and Development of Carpet Art in Azerbaijan for 2018-2022. The Ministry says they are working on building ten more enterprises and five terminals, which will supply wool and dyes. These facilities will be commissioned by late 2018.
