Azerbaijan’s population growth requires creation of over 100,000 jobs annually, chairman of the Commission on Regulation and Coordination of Labor Relations, Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Ahmadov said at the commission’s meeting May 25.
For the last 15 years, Azerbaijan’s population has increased by 1.5 million people, he noted.
Ali Ahmadov said that the population of Azerbaijan annually grows 1.2 percent.
He noted that employment issues in Azerbaijan are one of the important directions of state policy.
