The sides expressed satisfaction with the development of the bilateral relations in politics, economy and other fields between Azerbaijan and France. Besides, they noted the successful implementation of transport, space industry, infrastructure, agricultural and other projects by French companies in Azerbaijan.
Jean-Yves Le Drian expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev over the establishment of the Azerbaijani-French University (UFAZ).
President Ilham Aliyev touched on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in accordance with the norms and principles of international law within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
