North America wins FIFA Vote for World Cup 2026

Canada, Mexico and the United States will host the 2026 FIFA World Cup after the 68th FIFA Congress voted to back the joint bid on Wednesday.

"We have a winner for the 2026 FIFA World Cup – the member associations of Canada, Mexico and the United States have been selected by the FIFA Congress to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup," FIFA President Gianni Infantino said, announcing the voting results.

This would be the first time when three countries host the World Cup.
