Azerbaijan’s positive balance from foreign trade turnover doubles 

In January-May 2017 Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover amounted to AZN 11,225,878,200, up $3,958,926,030 or 54.48% compared to a year earlier.

According to statistics of the State Customs Committee, import operations rose by 36.87% or $1,038,471,000 to $ 3,855,338,540, export operations surged 65.63% or $2,920,455,030 to $7,370,539,660.

As a consequence, positive balance amounted to $3,515,201,120, up $1,881,984,030 or 2.15-fold from previous year.
