President Ilham Aliyev receives delegation led by Bulgarian deputy PM 

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister for Public Order and Security and Minister of Defense of Bulgaria Krasimir Karakachanov.

Krasimir Karakachanov highlighted that he witnessed a great development in Baku in comparison with his previous visit in 2008. Karakachanov congratulated Ilham Aliyev over the accomplishments made in all fields in Azerbaijan under his leadership.

President Ilham Aliyev thanked for kind words and emphasized the developing bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria in terms of strategic partnership. Ilham Aliyev stressed the role of official visits in building active cooperation in many fields. In addition, Aliyev noted the importance of expanding relations in other fields highlighting the strategic cooperation in the energy sphere.

The sides also touched the necessity of the third Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition, ADEX 2018. Furthermore, they stated that Krasimir Karakachanov’s visit to Azerbaijan would contribute to deepening the relations between the two countries.
