Armenia carries out illegal mine clearance activities in Nagorno Karabakh
As we know, going beyond its mandate, the OSCE Office in Yerevan has been involved illegal “mine clearance” activities in the Armenian-occupied Azerbaijani territories and a large amount of money has been spent on this illegal activity.
Consequently, after closure of the OSCE Office in Yerevan, the Armenian leadership and foreign diaspora organizations had to take another measures in order to organize illegal “mine clearance” activities in occupied Karabakh.

After the illegal activities of the Yerevan’s OSCE office, David Valadao, the Republican member of the United States House of Representatives, made a statement on the importance of giving support for the illegal “mine clearance” activities in the Armenian-occupied Azerbaijani territories. He have mentioned the above-mentioned opinions during the meeting with the representatives of the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA), which is very famous for its anti-Azerbaijani “contributions” in Karabakh.

“The illegal operation of the aggressor regime will contribute to the “peace building” in the region”, Congressman David Valado noted.

The congressman digressed from a diplomatic context: “De-mining saves lives and prevents life-altering injuries, providing economic opportunities to family farmers to work their land free from the fear of mine-related threats and longer-term, creating the conditions for a negotiated peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.”

Note, Congressman David Valadao will help to ensure that the Fiscal Year 2018 foreign aid bill prioritizes continued support for the HALO trust, a non-governmental organization. The de-mining works in the Azerbaijani regions occupied by Armenia roughly violate the international law norms especially the OSCE principles and values in contradiction with the geographical principle of Yerevan.
