A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran on establishing new communication links between East Zangazur economic region and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic through the territory of Iran, AzVision.az reports.
The document was concluded by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Co-chair of the Commission Shahin Mustafayev and Iran's Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Co-Chair of the Commission Rostam Ghasemi within the 15th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Iran State Commission on economic, trade and humanitarian cooperation.
