By this flight, 184 citizens, including 10 children, returned to Azerbaijan's capital Baku.
Gadir Guliyev, one of the evacuated citizens, expressed gratitude to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for the provided assistance. Guliyev said that before the evacuation he was placed in a Polish shelter with his family.
Another compatriot, Roman Shafiyev, noted that he lived in Ukraine’s Kharkiv.
"We were evacuated together with my mother and brother. I’m very glad that I came to my homeland," added Shafiyev.
The Azerbaijani government has organized 15 charter flights from Romania’s Bucharest and Iasi cities, as well as Poland’s Katowice.
