“Current issues on the bilateral and regional agenda were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the preparation for the official visit of Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan to Russia, including the signing of a package of bilateral documents,” the ministry said.
The diplomats also exchanged views on the implementation of the agreements between the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia dated November 9, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021, with an emphasis on further steps to unblock transport communications in the region and delimit the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.
The prospects for agreeing on a peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan through the mediation of the Russian side were touched upon.
