State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan sells currencies in the auctions held by the central Bank of Azerbaijan and these auctions will continue, Central Bank told.
“The rumours regarding devaluation are groundless. Because exchange rate of manat is formed depending on demand and supply in the currency market”, the bank said.
Central Bank added that the banks may meet their demand through interbank currency market on the days when auctions are not held.
