3811 people went missing in Karabakh
The statistics were announced on people who went missing, taken hostages and rescued during the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
3811 people went missing during the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Azerbaijan’s State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons told AzVision.az.

3098 military servicemen and 713 civilians, as well as 61 children (20 girls, 41 boys), 255 women and 304 old people (158 old women) are among them.

Furthermore, 877 people were taken hostages. 595 of them are militants, 282 civilians and as well as 27 children (girls and 20 boys), 99 women and 114 old people (65 old women).

1436 hostages as 351 military servicemen, 1085 civilians, 210 children (74 girls, 136 boys), 341 women and 285 old people (108 women) were rescued.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) registered 3734 Azerbaijanis and 780 Armenians as missing people.
