In a recent interview with Armenian radio station "Azadlig," European Union spokesperson Stano emphasized a neutral stance. However, some statements suggested a pro-Armenian bias. Stano portrayed Azerbaijan as unilaterally withdrawing from negotiations, while not mentioning any Armenian actions during the process.

As the EU representative, Stano likely closely monitors Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. He even referenced insider information, claiming Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan pledged to build a railway towards Azerbaijan during meetings facilitated by Charles Michel. It remains unclear if construction has begun.

Two Azerbaijani soldiers who crossed into Armenia from Nakhchivan were reportedly included in a recent servicemen exchange agreement. The agreement stipulated the return of these soldiers followed by the exchange of remaining military personnel. Has this exchange been completed?

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan previously proposed a full constitutional reform, which some see as addressing territorial claims with Azerbaijan. However, there are reports that he has backed away from this promise.

The Armenian Prime Minister's last promise on the four villages of Tavush has been met with controversy. He proved very well that those villages belong to the Republic of Azerbaijan. He explained the points that even some Azerbaijani does not know.  However, his current position appears to differ from those earlier statements.

The November 10, 2020, tripartite agreement, which addressed the withdrawal of Armenian military forces from Karabakh, has been a source of contention. Following the agreement, Prime Minister Pashinyan reportedly denied the presence of Armenian military personnel in the region.

After the civilian population's departure from Karabakh, it became evident that a significant number, estimated at 10-12 thousand individuals, were in fact, Armenian soldiers. This apparent discrepancy in Prime Minister Pashinyan's statements is considered to have contributed to the subsequent anti-terrorism operation in Karabakh.

The recent exodus of the Armenian population from Azerbaijani territory is believed to be a consequence of ongoing security concerns. Additionally, concerns persist regarding Prime Minister Pashinyan's stance on the territorial status of four villages in Tavush.

Moving forward, it remains to be seen how the international community, represented by figures such as the Minsk Group Co-Chairs, will address these outstanding issues.
