There is not a fundamental disagreement between Russia and Turkey, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the international conference "Mediterranean: Rome Dialogue", AzVision.az reports.
"I am convinced that the relations between Russia and Turkey are an example of how the two independent countries work together to implement their policies. They do not bow to anyone, do not issue ultimatums, are not subject to external influence. Therefore, Turkey's membership in NATO is not an obstacle for us, "Lavrov stated.
