Bayramov shared these details at a joint press conference with Fuad Hussein earlier today.
"I informed Mr. Hussein about the post-conflict situation in the region following Azerbaijan's restoration of its territorial integrity and sovereignty—particularly regarding efforts to return hundreds of thousands of former internally displaced persons to their native lands. We also discussed ongoing demining operations, as landmines remains a serious obstacle to population resettlement," the Azerbaijani foreign minister stated.
He added that the full range of issues related to the normalization process between Baku and Yerevan was discussed during their meeting.
"We emphasized the importance of the progress made in negotiating the draft peace treaty. However, some unresolved issues remain, particularly the presence of territorial claims against Azerbaijan in Armenia's Constitution," Bayramov noted.
