France, in close cooperation with Russia, intends to continue its efforts to help Armenia and Azerbaijan reduce tensions, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said in a phone conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, AzVision.az reports.
The top French diplomat stressed that the resumption of talks between the parties are vital.
“Paris believes the resumption of talks is a condition for discussion border demarcation and delimitation issues,” he said.
The minister called on the parties to show maximum restraint and refrain from any provocations.
