The US Embassy to Azerbaijan commended the Prosecutor General’s Office for highlighting the need to eliminate domestic violence in Azerbaijan in their Facebook post, AzVision.az reports
"Millions of women around the world have been victims of domestic violence, and in Azerbaijan we grieve for the 33 women who lost their lives in the first half of 2021 to this deplorable crime. We will be proud to partner with the Government of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani civil society to help eradicate the scourge of domestic violence and other forms of violence against women", the post reads.
