Egyptian newspaper publishes article on Khojaly genocide
"Khojaly residents call on peoples of the world and the United Nations".
Famous Egyptian newspaper Al Akhbar Al Youm published an article titled "Khojaly residents call on peoples of the world and the United Nations".

According to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Egypt, author Warda Al-Husseini said that residents, living 21 years in refugee camps and miraculously survived genocide committed by Armenians in Khojaly, call on the international community to provide political and legal assessment of this genocide, believing that the UN, the Council of Europe, OSCE and big peaceful countries will force Armenia to respect the principles of justice and establish civilized relations with neighbouring countries.

The article provides information on the impact of the Khojaly genocide, Armenia`s incompliance with four Security Council resolutions demanding the unconditional withdrawal of Armenian forces from the occupied Azerbaijani territories, and notes that it is a major blow to the credibility of the said organization.
