The evacuation of Azerbaijani citizens both by charter flights and buses from Ukraine due to the situation in the country through the territory of neighboring states continues, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry told AzVision.az.
The ministry said that so far, over 7,500 citizens have been evacuated to Azerbaijan (more than 4,500 – by road transport, and nearly 3,000 – by charter flights).
The Azerbaijani government has organized 15 charter flights from Romania’s Bucharest and Iasi cities, as well as Poland’s Katowice city. First of all, women, children, the elderly, people with health problems were evacuated.
